TeenSpot Talent Contest Auditions were on
March 15, 2012, Drake High School Little Theater, 5.00 PM
Matt Jaffe is a 18-year-old singer-songwriter from the San Francisco Bay Area. He began studying violin at age five and began to experiment with guitar, mandolin and vocals around the age of 11. Since then, he has performed regularly throughout the Bay, including venues in Berkeley, San Francisco, and Fairfax. Drawing from influences such as Talking Heads and Ted Leo &the Pharmacists, Matt writes original music that has won "Best Original Song" awards at recent West Coast Songwriter competitions. He continues to write and perform both solo, as well as with the band Lost Cosmonauts.
